Who is behind Fodas Que Bom ?

Who is behind this unique new brand? The origin of the story starts around the humble dinner table. Being Portuguese, meal times are sacred. It’s the time of the day when family comes together to break bread and share stories of their day. Carlos, the owner of Fodas Que Bom, developed a passion over the last few years to grow his own peppers. After mixing a few of these peppers and some of the family’s favourite spices, Fodas Que Bom was born. Why the name you may ask? Well, Fodas Que Bom simply means “%$@#” it’s good!! And you will find yourself repeating that phrase after your first taste!

The hot sauces are proudly South African with a Portuguese flair. Now you know we love a healthy kick, and Fodas sure delivers on that! All the sauces are made using a lacto-fermentation process, which is an important source of probiotics and prebiotics that help support our digestive system.
