One of the best sauces I have ever had. Extremely well balanced, love the acidity. Expected more burn as it leaves the door wide open for wimps. I should have bought 2 or 3. Finished my bottle in less than a week.

Although it’s not the main ingredient (I must assume they follow the usual way of listing ingredients from the largest volume to the smallest), the immediate note that hits you is that sweet but tangy tomato, and then the burn starts. While it’s hot, it’s bearable and this one has that pleasant affect of heating your whole body up. Those same fruity citrus notes from their other sauces are hiding underneath the heat and overall the sauce has a pretty impressive flavour profile that manages to meet the heat head on and hold its own. Those who felt like they were on the edge of tolerance with the Marie Sharp Green Habanero are advised to buckle in if you’re going to try this, and say your last prayers just in case. For those used to the likes of reapers et al, you’ll be fine here. Just the right amount of pain to balance your chilli loving pleasure.
