In terms of taste, this is likely the sweetest super-hot pepper you are going to find. There’s a lot more flavor to the Scorpion pepper than you’ll find in most extremely hot peppers. In fact, the extreme hot sauces made from it are quite tasty if you are used to super-hots. Still, a warning: this is a scorching chilli with 9/10 heat.

Learning the story behind the name: from the imagination of a child straight to your plate! The sauce-makers son came up with the name Johnny Hexburg for his army men toys and his rock band. At the age of 11 he entered into an agreement with his parents to allow them to use the name for their unique hot sauce.
