Fury Piri-Piri is a two-decade old Piri-Piri recipe. The love for Chilies has led to a family driven project in which they locally source and handcraft their own organic Bird’s-Eye Piri-Piri.

This sauce is a fresh tasting Piri-Piri sauce in the traditional Mozambican Portuguese style. The combination of lemons, garlic and chillies results in the perfect balance of flavour and heat. The quality of the ingredients really sets this sauce apart.

Details of the Sauce
Nose/smell: Very aromatic. Strong hints of lemon, garlic and white wine coming through. You can smell the fresh ingredients as soon as your crack open each bottle.
Palate/taste: It has heavier undertones of lemon, garlic, a secret combination of herbs, spices and a dash of White Wine. It has a little bit of heat without it being overwhelming. We always focus on the flavour profile instead of the heat temperature.
Consistency: it is has smoother consistency compared to our normal Birds Eye Chilli sauces which has creamier texture. The reason being because we use more fresh lemon and vinegar in our Prego sauces.
Burn: it has a slow burn. As we said before, we are looking to bring the best flavour in each bottle of sauce instead of being the hottest sauce out there. What we don’t match in heat, we will definitely match in flavour.
SUGGESTED FOODS
Our Fury Piri Piri sauce works well with all types of meat. It goes hand in hand with chicken, beef and pork! All it needs is a few hours for your meats to soak in and it will bring out the most flavour possible in all your meals.

By far South Africa’s best Peri Peri sauce, I really just want to smother my chicken and chips in this! Its great as basting as well and has an excellent flavour!
The sauce has a crazy separation but after a good shake it is perfect!

Best described as that great lemon peri peri taste you love from Nando’s, elevated by a creamy consistency, I assume caused by the emulsion resulting from a perfect balance of oil and lemon juice. The birds-eye chillis provide a great heat. This made me think back to ordering slap chips from Chippies in Cape Town slathered in their garlic peri peri sauce, only, better.
