How did Be Nice begin?
Before we talk about the Be Nice Red Blend Hot let’s discuss how Be Nice began and their beliefs.
Be Nice began in 2019 and was inspired by the Kambuzi chillies. Simplicity is their motto and is carried out across all of their product ranges including their ingredients.
The local chillies are sourced throughout South Africa and range from Birds Eye chillies, Thai chillies, Serrano chillies, Habanero chillies and Jalapeno chillies. The Kambuzi chillies are grown by small subsistence farmers in Malawi.
They believe generations of wisdom, cultures and history are carried through the food we eat – theirs is but a small part of it. They believe the earth is alive and must be cared for to sustain all of life. We are losing more connection to the earth as we depend on massive corporations to source our food. Supporting small farmers is keeping cultures alive and vibrant. There’s no reason to have chemicals in our food.
Let’s support local!

A damn tasty sauce with multiple layers to it, with a great burn that lingers. A slight sweetness, some good earthiness and an underlying zesty tang. It’s also made with a rare hot chilli named Kambuzi grown in the tropical climate of Malawi that I’d never heard of, so that’s pretty cool. This one’s going on EVERYTHING 🤣

Very nice sauce – I still prefer the green one – but I stock both just in case the mood hits me
